Compatibility problems between B2 Stepping X58 Chipsets and LSI 3081E-R HBA Card?

I currently have a Motherboard with B2 Stepping X58 Chipsets (Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5) and I'm planning to buy a LSI 3081E-R HBA(RAID) Card. But I heard that there's some compatibility problems with those two products. Is it true?

And I also heard that X58 Chipsets have compatibility problems with some PCI-e HBA/RAID Cards, Is it true?
