I have a laptop with intel hd graphics and i want to connect my computer to my tv.
the thing is that my tv doesnt have a HDMI input. therefore the only option is the vga output; and i hear vga cables won't work with intel hd graphics

If your TV comes with VGA only, this means that your television will work as regular monitor. The VGA does not offer native TV out support. An Intel Graphics Controller does not support the usage of video adapters.

Sorry, i did not get you.
My tv comes with Scart and RCA inputs, it doesn't have VGA inputs.
Will buying a vga to rca cable or vga to s-video (with scard adapter) work for me? Or is it depended on the controller?

Good day.
I am the owner of a Toshiba laptop with an Intel® Core™ i3-350M Processor. I would just like to know if it has a TV-Out function, because i am planing to purchase a VGA to RCA cable to connect it to my TV.
Thank you for your time.
Regards

Hi Setu,
I have the same doubt, did you finally get the cable and try it ???
I'm about to buy the cable because it's really cheap, but I guess it's not going to work ...
I'll appreciate if you tell me about your experience
Thanks and regards
