Crash dumping occur on World War Z during gaming - Intel Iris Xe Graphics

Hi, the game is running great and smooth after updated graphic driver, however crash dump occurs randomly in the game, cannot even finish one chapter, may i know the reason? hope it will be fixed very soon, thank you.

1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.  


2. Does this happen with other games? If so, which ones?

3. Was the game working properly with the previous driver? If so, do you remember the driver version?

4. Are you using a laptop or desktop computer?

5. Can you share a video or pictures where we can see the Crash dumping issue?

Thank you for your attention, please see my reply below.

 

1. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system. 

File attached.

2. Does this happen with other games? If so, which ones?

No, it happens on the game only.

3. Was the game working properly with the previous driver? If so, do you remember the driver version?

For the previous drivers, the fps is too low to play, so I didn't play this game until new driver release.

4. Are you using a laptop or desktop computer?

I'm using a laptop.

5. Can you share a video or pictures where we can see the Crash dumping issue?

In order to help you further, please try the following:


1. Check with the GPD team to confirm if there is a BIOS update available.

2. Update your Windows version and build, not to Windows 11.

3. Perform a clean install of the Intel drivers:

4. Get in contact with the GPD support team for instruction and support.

Just let you know that after competed No.1 and No.3 steps from your advice, finally I can successfully finish a whole chapter of this game, it's amazing! thank you! Hope it won't crash again, thanks again!

It still keeps crashing but the crashing frequency is slightly lower then before, hope it will be solved very soon, thanks!

Based on the investigation performed I would like to recommend you the following:



1. Completly uninstall and reinstall the game.

2. Change the game settings to the lowest options.

3. Check with the game developer for instruction and settings.

4. Get in contact with the GPD team for support and instructions.

I have asked GPD about the issue, they said that may be the problem of the graphic driver.

I hope the problem will be solved in the coming driver update, thank you for your assistance.
