Does Intel Graphic command center have to be in the startup or can it just be started from the program group when needed.

We are looking to remove unnecessary startup programs from our startup folder and are determining the impact of having it in the startup folder. Do you have any latency data to provide for it being in the startup folder vs not and what are the drawback of not including it in startup or benefits. We are a large organization with many thousands of system so on a large scale it could be impacting.

The startup shortcut is placed there if you set up a custom configuration in the Command Center. If you did not, you do not need this shortcut there.

What would be considered a custom configuration as I have done a test with it not in startup and did a customer color brightness then restarted and the custom brightness still stayed in place.

If you saw no issues with the shortcut removed from the Startup folder, then you are good to go.
