Just got a notice over the weekend that there is an updated driver for my computer so I installed it. Now when it sits idle for awhile my screen turns black and I can no longer see anything. I have to force a shut down and start the computer again. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I use my laptop for work and there's very important information that I can't lose. Anyone have any suggestions?

DevEdwards: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Graphics communities. We are sorry to hear the laptop is not working properly.
In order to try to fix this problem, we recommend to manually install the graphics drivers provided by the manufacturer, sometimes there are some driver updates that does not properly suit the platform that you are using.
Which is the model of the laptop?
Which Windows version are you using?
We can also try to install the drivers available in our web site, the latest version for the Intel® HD Graphics 520 controller is 4849:

Any further questions, please let me know.
