I would like to have a better understanding of the situation so we can assist with this issue, could you please share a screenshot of exactly what you see on screen when this issue occurs?
As a first approach, you can also try uninstalling the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller and while in safe mode try updating to the latest driver 31.0.101.4699 this will take care of any conflicting software in case there is a correlation with the issue.

I wanted to check if you are still experiencing this problem, we recommended using Display Driver Uninstaller for the installation of the latest driver, Were you able to install it?
