Extended Desktop Display Resolutions

I cannot configure the resolutions correctly for my Lenovo G50 laptop to display an extended desktop on my Panasonic 50" TV like I could with my previous laptop (that had an NVIDIA display adapter). Can I get help with this? Both the laptop and TV resolutions become unusable. My current display adapter is called simply: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family. Driver version: 10.18.15.4279 - This device is working properly.

I have tried multiple different resolutions on the laptop and the TV, but nothing gets all of the laptop display to show up correctly on the TV. Are there additional resolutions that may be unlocked somehow?

• Operating system.
