Failed installation of Intel Iris Xe graphics

"The application is in an unauthorized location. Move it to a non-system folder."

 

I have had this problem for almost a month and today I decided to look for a solution.

  1. Move the temporary folder used for the installation files outside any Windows System folders (see this video clip for an example).
    or
  2. If the above is not possible, use PnPUtil /add-driver command in a script to install the driver.
