Intel has just launched a brand new Web page called https://gameplay.intel.com/ Gameplay.intel.com which provides lab tested in-game optimizations to improve the experience on Intel Graphics. When you install a new game on an Intel Graphics-only system, the experience may not be as great as it could be. Specifically, you may be able to dial up the frame rate and details or even play a game you did not think possible. With the in-game optimizations, the gaming experience on Intel Graphics will be improved. It is Intel's goal to improve opportunities for gamers to find optimizations to enable better gameplay.
We hope you enjoy it!

Rise of the Tomb Raider running on the Skull Canyon NUC (NUC6i7KYK). I'm comparing different settings and DX11 vs DX12.
Although the average performance on DX11 is higher, I recommend playing on DX12, because the min. FPS are higher and texture/object loading is much faster (see valley scene!).
Compared to the recommended settings from Intel I changed a few things:
Screen settings:
1280x720, FXAA, VSync on, exclusive fullscreen
Graphics settings:
Preset "Custom"
Texture Quality "High"
Anisotropic Filter "4x"
Shadow Quality "Off"
Sun Soft Shadow "Off"
Ambient Occlusion "Off"
Depth of Field "Off"
Level of Detail "Low"
Tessellation "Off"
Screen Space Reflections "Off"

Thanks again Alberto Question: I noticed that this thread isn't "sticky" anymore... is there an other thread where users can recommend game settings and share their experience with each others?
