Graphics Tuning is not showing up

Hey man,

I have an old ux31a which has intel hd 4000 for its gpu. i have recently installed Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to undervolt the gpu since it was basically going over the max idle temp by just a bit. BUT it does overheat when i game. I opened the software and i found no option to tune my graphics. There was an option to overclock the cpu but i never need it to be overclocked. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!!

For reference i made a screenshot from my HD 5500, which is Broadwell architecture though.

Don't know about the difference to your older processor.

hmm, mine doesn't have the advanced tuning drop down thing. IT IS possible that thats a specific feature when there's 2 or more configurable settings. But it is as well possible that I may have installed the wrong XTU version. do you mind sharing your XTU version?

I'm using the latest 6.2.19

Here is a collection of older versions: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=150700 Intel XTU Version Library - HWBOT forum

Try one that matches the age of your hardware: http://ark.intel.com/search/advanced?s=t&GraphicsModel=Intel%C2%AE%20HD%20Graphics%204000 ARK | Processor Feature Filter

I just tested the latest XTU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU- version 6.2 and Intel® HD graphics 4000 but does not have graphics overclocking options.

As far as I remember the Intel® HD graphics 4000 will not allow to overclock with the Intel® XTU. I will confirm this statement and update this thread as soon as possible.

I have Intel HD Graphics 2000, and the graphics tuning is also gone. I think my Graphics card is locked.
