Graphics dot glitches

EA SPORTS FC 25 6_25_2025 10_02_36 PM (1).jpgHello ,  I am user of arc a580 with i5 11400 cpu. There are moving dots on cinematic scene and some screen tearing. meanwhile the game play is smooth. but these dots happen in a visible amount. And there are also similar types glitches in call of vanguard.

tried fixing -

1. updating to latest driver ( driver version- 32.0.101.6881)

2. tried ddu cleaning the gpu driver.

3 changing hdmi cable.

 

system spec 

i5 11400 

msi b560m pro vdh wifi

8×2 gb corsair vengence lpx

intel arc a 580( resiable bar is enabled)

windows 11 home 24h2.

all drivers are updated to latest.

please,help me to solve this problem and investgate this thoroughly.

  • Does the issue occur only during cutscenes? Or does it also happen during regular gameplay or menus?
  • When did the issue start? Was it after a specific driver update or game patch?
  • Have you tried adjusting the graphics settings?
  • Could you provide a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?
  • Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?

 

Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. Thank you for reaching out.

The following details are

1. yes, it occurs on cutscenes specially fc25 . but it also happens in gameplay sometimes ( like when playing forza horizon 4 in pov , there are some visible white dots on the steering and even on the dash) . As these are hard to capture on screenshot. I failed provide some evidence. 

2. the issue started randomly. my last driver version was 32.0.101.6874.

3. I always play in medium settings to gain more fps for smooth gameplay.  I alway turn xess and fsr( fsr sometimes creates problem).

 4.yes. in call of duty vanguard campagin mode.

5. I used platfrom steam , in windows 11.

My added question, Is it possible Intel will add recording features again and driver level upscaling on drivers just like Amd radeon rsr?

Thank you for the update. I want to clarify that I can assist with only one game or issue in this thread. I suggest creating separate threads for each game you're reporting so I can address on each concern individually.

 

To isolate this issue, please try installing the 32.0.101.6647 and execute a clean installation to see if the issue still persists.


Additionally, you can also try installing the latest 32.0.101.6881 and performing clean installation.

It did solve to some extent. But still glitch dot is seen in FC 2025

In line with this, there is a newer driver for your graphics card 32.0.101.6913. Can you please try to install it and execute a clean installation to see if the issue still persists.

Yes, I did update to the latest version ( 32.0.101.6913) .

I also used display driver uninstaller for clean installation. But dot glitches still apears on fc 25 cutscenes.

  • Please confirm if the issue only occurs during cutscenes or even in gameplay with the latest driver?
  • Can you please try installing the oldest available driver 6732 just to compare if the issue still happens on this version. Please ensure a clean installation is performed.
  • Additionally, can you please try changing your graphics settings to lower and compare it with higher settings.

I do have a suggestion, try plugging your display adapter to your onboard graphics. Then try running the monitor test and see if you could spot those dots. If you can't then it probably the GPU issue, if you have spot it then I think the monitor is at fault here

Yes. I did review the previous post. I think it some sort of driver issue. as because when i played with my integrated uhd 730 ino issues apperead. Also in some cases the game freezes, that I found out. 

In this period time I did a fresh copy of windows installation, new hdmi cable, fresh installation of game. but no luck.

i also found changing default stadium fixes the freezing issue.

example- If I choose real madrid against barcelona in kick off mode, the defult stadium is Estadio De Santiago Bernabeu . than the game crashes on full match intro. ( Does not happen on uhd 730). but changing  stadium results in no freezing and no glitching.

To further troubleshoot and isolate the issue, consider the following steps:

 

  1. Check BIOS: Determine if the dots are visible in the BIOS. If they are, this may indicate a hardware problem.
  2. Reseat the GPU: Attempt to reseat the GPU and observe if there are any changes.
  3. BIOS update: Please try updating your BIOS version.

 

Additionally, if the issue still persists, please answer the following:

 

  1. Is the problem occurring only in FC 2025 after troubleshooting?
  2. If the issue is exclusive to FC 2025? If yes, please provide screenshots of your game settings.
  3. What is the make and model of the monitor you're using?
  4. Does the issue also occur when not playing games, such as during regular computer navigation, web browsing, or watching online videos?

Sorry that accept as solution was a false touch on phone.
1. There is no glitch in bios.
2 I did reseat the GPU.
3. Bios is up to date.
The problem only occurs on fc 25.
4. The previous post has the glitch image.
5. I have 1080p 75hz monitor from Xiaomi.
6. The issue only happens in fc25.

Yes. I mostly run my games on default settings. Fc25 is no different to it. fc 25.jpg

 

I also forgot mention a bug that happens on start of a match (play full match intro enabled) the match intro cutscene stuck like this

The match intro does not play, And the game does not load ahead and stuck like this. In this state intro skip option works and the game starts. But after half time the screen goes blank .The pause menu works but there is a catch to it !

If I try to end match or restart the match from this state  from pause menu the screen goes blank like this-v7ref9kbqkud1.jpeg

In this state the screen remains blank as long as I do not force close it. This blank screen also appears after half time in a match session.

After last post, I also tried more troubleshooting methods like-

1. checking the integrity of game files

2. deleting game profile and creating new one. Also tried game in lowest setting , max setting, window borderless mode e.t.c.

3. repairing EA app.

4. Also tested my Arc A580 on OCCT. It found no issues. tested on furmark with artifacts scanner on. No issues found. Performed liked usual.

5. tested ram modules . Again no issues in ram modules

6. tried reseating gpu , changing hdmi cable, trying on a new monitor. but the problems in FC 25 remains.

 

Also the interesting fact is the igpu ( uhd 730) on my i5 11400 has no problem playing Fc 25 . There is no dot glitches , no stucked screen , no blank screen. while testing on igpu, I took out the arc a580 from the system, ddu the driver and then reinstall the driver for uhd 730. The driver for igpu and for arc a580 is the same version(version 32.0.101.6913). And while the gpu  is in system the igpu is disabled by motherboard.  And every time I install gpu driver - first I ddu clean the driver than reinstall it.

 

I think it is optimization issue arc gpus, as my igpu has no problem playing it. Also a friend of mine having same problem on his arc a750. I would be happy a customer , if Intel investigate the problem and came up with a solution to fix this.
