Hello!
I recently reinstalled Windows 11 and started updating the drivers using the built-in Windows update feature. At some point, my monitor turned off and displayed a black screen. I attempted to resolve the issue through multiple restarts and by entering safe mode, and I discovered that the problem lies with the Intel driver 'Intel® Arc™ and Iris® Xe Graphics — WHQL — Windows*', which previously worked fine in Windows 10 and Linux (Fedora 37, 38, Ubuntu 22.04). It's worth mentioning that after this monitor error, I can no longer boot into Ubuntu properly, and in Windows 11, I'm forced to use basic graphics settings.
I would like to know if there is a way to fix this problem and restore the functionality of the driver. I'm unsure of how to proceed in resolving this issue.
Thank you,
Artjom

Good time of day. I solved my black screen problem as follows:
1. Download the driver and wait for the black screen.
2. Enter safe mode.
3. Turn off the graphics driver.
4. Restart the PC.
5. Turn on the graphics.
That's how I solved my problem.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

Hello TinkerExe
Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities. I am sorry you are experiencing black screen issues when using the graphics driver for your system,
As a first approach to this issue please restart the system in safe mode and use Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall the current drivers. Once uninstalled, install the latest version of the driver 30.0.101.4314 while in safe mode.
Best Regards
