HD 5500 won't support Fallout 4 video game

Running,HD,5500,video,driver,on,a,55-5272,could,not,open,Fallout,4,found,online,fix,set,driver,to,WARP,and,max,11_1,...runs,very,slow,any,thoughts,on,speeding,up?

In fact on this video card Fallout 4 they will also run well with all settings low, but the real problem is that it seems that is not yet optimized for this game because it has so many crashes, like when you start or while playing in some places the gameIt closes and the video card stops working ... I hope that Intel will release soon new drivers that solve these problems ...

  • Computer model.
  • Settings used to run the game.
  • Driver version installed.

The model is a tobisha satellite l55-c5272. I have tried all different game settings from high to low res. I used the intel app to upgrade driver to latest version

What operating system are you running?

Could you please confirm is this is the version that you have installed https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25541/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- Download Intel® Beta Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40]?

You could try with Ready Boost but I won't increase that much the performance.

according to my intel graphics control panel I have the most updated driver . according to my MS control panel my driver version is 10.18.15.4268 my OS is Windows 10 home 64-bit (10.0,build 10240) (10240.th1_stl.151104-1714) according to DxDiag.... BTW ,,,,thanks for helping me

Please try with the following drivers and let me know if the performance improves, if you can add more details(pictures,videos, errors you might get) about the performance of the game that will really help to narrow the issue.

Try with this one first;

I was unable to download the links, it referred me to Toshiba. I downloaded the drivers. After that, the game was working at a playable pace. I attempted to change the screen size to full-screen, but the driver stopped working and recovered, but I am unable to play the game, because it moves to slow.

TPKF150, at this point you are facing with a known issue, note the picture below;

Intel is currently working on known issues, let's hope that future driver releases might fix this issue.

The problem of the crash when loading has been fixed with the latest beta drivers (4380).

But now the 1.3 version of the game you can not play anymore because it suffers from a problem of textures and framerate. This only happens on Intel graphics card.

I apologize for the late reply.

As for now Intel is working on fixing this issue, we are approaching Bethesda Softworks in order to address this matter, but at the moment we do not have an estimate for this, as soon as we have more information we will let you know.
