HD graphics 3000 under windows 10 driver issue HELP!

Hi,

With my Dell inspiron i have an integrated Intel graphic card hd 3000 (2ed generation if I'm not mistaken)

 

Ewerything was alright after an upgrade to windows 10 but all of a sudden my second graphic card stopped to be seen by my only installed game. So i tryed to do something with the drivers and now I am unable to instal proppers Intel card drivers.

 

I have tryed all matching latest and older drivers from this website and found a clue to use Windows update.

 

All for nothing. All I get is 1042x768 desktop display and card instead of beeing called Intell HD Graphics 3000

 

is beeing called standart VGA support card - (I use polish language in Windows so I could have translated it faulty).

Whatever i try i fail.

The other card is Nvidia GeFource GT 525M, and it looks alright except it dont work without propper drivers for Inetl's card - it looks that way. I may be mistaken. PLEASE help anyone! I am stuck!

Hi,

 

 

I understand you are looking for Windows® 10 graphics drivers for Intel® HD graphics 3000, second generation graphics.

 

At this stage, Doc is right about it. Intel does not provide direct downloads and technical support for 2nd gen graphics drivers and Windows® 10.

I also have the same problem, and I am curious what information you sent him in a private message. I have clicked on Doc's link, but I don't know what I am supposed to do from there. Is he suggesting that the drivers on that site will work for me?

Hi CerealChomp,

 

 

Intel does not have graphics drivers available for Windows® 10 for your Intel® HD graphics 3000 graphics controller. You are currently running Inbox drivers for Windows® 10, they are provided by Microsoft* as part of the installation package. The only way to get updated Inbox graphics drivers would be through windows update tool. I´m planning to update my System (HD 3000 incl.) on Win10.

Could you please send me the pn too?

Like to see if it is possible for me to upgrade or better stick to Win7.

However, I find your PM to be a bad joke.

Why can't this be simply stated publicly and this thread closed for good, instead of all this PM'ing ?

@all others - there won't be any new HD 3000 driver for Win10.

Please carefully read the above responses. All that the PM was saying is that Windows HD Graphics 3000 is not supported on Windows 10 other than by Microsoft's inbox compatibility driver. There are no driver updates available from Intel. There will be no driver updates available from Microsoft. There will be no updates in the future, period. It is time for you to purchase a modern system or, where possible, add an alternate graphics engine.

Intel is not offering driver for Intel® HD Graphics 3000 and Windows 10*. As Doc already mentioned, this product is not compatible with this operating system. We suggest using only the operating systems listed as compatible with this graphics controller.
