I have issue with clipping sound when streaming video content that includes HD sound (5.1 or 7.1) over HDMI when using Intel UHD-730. This happens only when video setting are set to 4k@30Hz 4:4:4 10bit HDR. This do not happen on content with low bit-rate for the sound and only when HD sound is used. The issue seams to be related to bandwidth issue so this is not a configuration issue. I have no issue if I test this with 4k@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit HDR.
CPU: Intel i3 12100T (latest UHD-730 drivers)
MB: Gigabyte B660I Arus
RAM: 16GB 3,2 GHz
OS: Win11 Pro
HDMI cable: 48GBit UHD cable

I have sent the file via email.
Regarding the setting you are using I get the same issue but its important that you set color range to full and not default. When using RGB as color format, default will be the same as full but YCBCR_444 will use limited when default are used. This will impact the color space and also trigger more issue with sound if full are used. It make sens to me that going for 10bit or full color range are both impacting the color depth and could be the clue for why audio issue are occurring only in this mode. The sound clipping/drops will be random and sometime it can happens ones in a one minute video clip or 10 times. You can set the video player to loop the clip so it will trigger but for me it always happens within one minutes or so.
I would also suggest not to use Text Content option. If turned of will remove any local processing and let the TV do it by its self and should be turn of as default. though I do not see this as related to the issue, YFI.

Hello lans,
Thanks for your patience. I would like to let you know that I tried to replicate this issue, however, I did not get the same results.
Bear in mind that this issue could be related to your specific system, I recommend you check this behavior with the Av receiver manufacturer for further support.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.

I'm note sure the AV-receiver is to blame here. The receiver has no issue with any audio processing as long the graphics is not using 10bit mode that in my book is related to video and not audio. Still there are so much that I do not know how the Intel processor is handling things. I'm also very certain that the AV-receiver is only do pass-through on video and using eARC four sound.
For Gigabyte MB I have no luck with this case and will not get any help here, so if there is anything that are related to the MB then this will not be solved. But there are no indication that MB are has any component related to Intel HDMI data stream.
This case will be open until I get a solution...
