HDMI not working with Intel 4400

Hi,

I hope somebody out there can help me. I have recently bought a Lenovo Flex 15 with Intel graphics 4400 version 10.18.10.3379 updated to Windows 8.1. I cannot seem to get the HDMI port to work, the display on the external TV screen is just blank when I try and connect. The cable is fine as I have tried with other PC's, I have tried adding the connection at different stages and switching the tv/laptop on in a different order, still nothing. When I first attached the cable it did work for a few seconds but no sound, I then unattached the HDMI cable to try and solve this issue and now I can't get any picture or sound. I have also tried various TV's. I have tried to update the driver but I seem to have the latest one. When I rolled back the driver to a previous version it still didn't work. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance for your help..
