Up to 3 monitors, 1 monitor per display port.

Multiple Display Configurations

The following multiple display configuration modes are supported (with appropriate driver software):

• Single Display is a mode with one display port activated to display the output to one display device.

• Intel Display Clone is a mode with up to three display ports activated to drive the display content of same color depth setting but potentially different refresh rate and resolution settings to all the active display devices connected.

• Extended Desktop is a mode with up to three display ports activated to drive the content with potentially different color depth, refresh rate, and resolution settings on each of the active display devices connected.

The digital ports on the processor can be configured to support DisplayPort*/HDMI/DVI. For Desktop designs, digital port D can be configured as eDPx4 in addition to dedicated x2 port for Intel FDI for VGA.

Hello Relder,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

Yes, that is good information Stefan3D provided above, you can also check the following link for frequently asked questions about 3 displays configuration.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005556.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005556.html

Please bear in mind that it is recommend getting better performance to use straight connection but if you need to use an adapter I suggest you to use and active adapter instead of a passive adapter.

Best regards,

Hello Ivan,

I own a Lenovo Yoga 3. I use 2 monitors daily. A week ago I updated my windows 10. Since then my laptop doesn't recognise a second screen.

I made sure to update my Graphics 5500 driver. and still, can't make a second screen detected.

What can I do?
