How to know about my video card driver?

Hi guys, whenever I am trying to open the games in the computer(chess titans, solitaire, etc.) i get the following message.

" Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow game performance. Make sure you have the latest video card driver installed and that hardware acceleration is turned on."

When I press "OK" and proceed I could play the game but the graphics is very bad. After this I checked the "hardware acceleration" and found that it is "enabled". What could be the problem?? This problem started happening after I reinstalled my windows. I tried installing all the drivers in the CD which came along with the laptop, but no use.

My system details are:

Dell Inspiron Laptop

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M350 @2.27Ghz 2.26GHz

Installed Menory(RAM): 3.00GB(2.87GB usable)

System type: 32-bit Operating System

Can anyone help me please... Thanks in advance....

Hello,

It seems that probably the video driver is not properly installed or initialized by the operating system.

I suggest you to check on your computer's Device Manager and see under display adapters. Make sure that the display controller is not marked with any exclamation or question mark on it.

You can also try loading the latest generic driver that we provide for the video controller integrated in this processor. That driver is available here:

If during the installation of the Intel generic drivers you get this message: "driver not validated on this computer", go here for further instructions:

I also recommend you to check with your Original Equipment Manufacturer or laptop manufacturer to make sure that all the hardware installed is working fine and also check that all the drivers required for your system to work, are loaded properly. In addition, you should use the operating system image or installation disc that is provided by your Original Equipment Manufacturer for this system (specially if the issue started after you reinstalled the operating system on your own)
