hi there. i have bought i3 6100 with asus z170-k motherboard. As i3 6100 processor supports integrated graphics i havent bought any graphic card. I am unable to play even the windows default games. It says "couldnot find any compatible Direct3D devices." I have contacted your support team on phone and they have said to install the new beta version drivers (15.40.26.4474). I have installed it and it is of no use. Please guide me, so that i could play games on my system. Thank you.

It seems to be a problem with your operating system not been able to find graphics controller or 3D graphics engine to play games.

At this stage, please try uninstalling any Intel(R) Graphics Driver you may have installed on the computer and install the production version 4463

You need to access Windows Control Panel in order to uninstall the driver.

Allan.

Hi Allan. Thanks for the reply. I have installed Intel Driver Update

Utility (2.6) on my system and updated the drivers. It has automatically

updated the graphics driver to the one you have mentioned (v20.19.15.4463).

At the moment could you please suggest me anything to do to straighten the

issue. I dont have the intention of updating the OS. So please help me with

any other alternative. I have a small question for you. Intel HD Graphics

530 integrated with 6100...Does it mean it does not require any graphic

card to play any games( at least windows default games). Please clarify

this. Many thanks.

The processor model 6100 integrates the graphics controller, this means that there is no need to add an external video card.

I have been testing the same graphics model on couple of systems I have as Demos and they all played fine with Microsoft* games. I even updated to a newer graphics driver:
