Well, I need the latest intel graphics driver, so I went to my Intel-Driver-and-Support-Assistant-Installer, and then that error popped up, and I basically tried everything that I could see in the forums and I still had the same problem. Please, someone help me. I already tried everything that this page said https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000027538/graphics-drivers/graphics-for-7th-generation-intel-processors.html

  1. Click on "Update now" to start Windows update to the latest version (1903). This process will take 1-2 hours.
  2. Now follows steps described here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000027538/graphics-drivers/graphics-for-7th-generation-intel-processors.html . Download the latest DCH driver from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28888/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=80939

  1. What is your computer model?
  2. What is your Windows 10 version?

Intel's driver packages are guaranteed to support only three Windows updates back. You must upgrade to at least Windows 10.0.17134 (1803, Redstone 4) to be able to use the latest driver package. Frankly, at this point, you should be running 10.0.18362 (1903, 19H1).

Sorry, but it is what it is.

  1. OK. Once your Windows is updated, download the latest DCH driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28888/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=80939
  2. Follow those instruction to install the new driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000027538/graphics-drivers/graphics-for-7th-generation-intel-processors.html (follow the part: " Here are some extra steps you can follow if the issue persists: "

Sorry, have no other idea.

  1. Your Windows is updated to the latest version
  2. You have 7th generation processor (have you)?
  3. After Windows update, you have uninstalled the old driver and you can see Microsoft Basic Graphic Driver in the Device Manager.
  4. After the answer to the above paragraphs is Yes, you still get an error trying to install the DCH driver.

Can't help

Hello Mr. LWAKSMAN

I checked that stuff out and I realized that my Windows wasn't updated to the last version.

Then I updated it and it worked!

Man, you are a legend , thank you so much. 😄
