I want to know whether Intel HD 4600,HD 3000 and z3700 series support nv12 (YUV420) format decoding?

I checked with DXVA checker and found that Intel HD 4600 , HD 3000 and z3700 series Graphics card do not support DXVA nv12 decoding.Chrome also prompts the same question.I wonder if there is a problem with the graphics card driver. Can I update the graphics card driver on the official website to fix this problem.(Intel HD 4600 , HD 3000 and z3700 series Graphics card have the same problem. )Picture 1Picture 1Picture 2Picture 2

Hello @Jackice

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We would like to inform you that due to the Intel® HD Graphics 4600 and Intel® HD Graphics 3000 have been discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request. Thank you for your understanding.

Having said that, we will continue the support for this request to review if Intel® HD Graphics for Intel Atom® Processor Z3700 Series supports "nv12 (YUV420) format decoding". As soon as we have more details available, we will post them here in the thread.

Hello Jackice

After reviewing this further, we want to inform you that NV12 (YUV420) is not supported on Bay Trail based-graphics (e.g.: Intel® HD Graphics for Intel Atom® Processor Z3700 Series) thus this is not a graphics driver issue.

Also, we would like to set the right expectations and let you know that driver updates for Bay Trail are not expected anytime soon since the focus has shifted to newer and more powerful graphics products such as Iris® Xe (11th gen processors) and newer.
