Even though you’ve used high-performance memory (G.SKILL DDR5 6400 MHz), it’s still possible that there may be instability issues with the RAM, especially with the high speeds. Try to run memtest86. Enable XMP (if not already) or tweak memory settings manually in the BIOS to ensure the RAM is running at the proper settings. You said that you do clean installation of OS ensure that you are using the latest drivers for your RTX 4070 Ti. Sometimes, the newest driver may have compatibility issues. It may help to test an older, stable driver release from NVIDIA's website (perhaps one from a few months ago). Consider using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the GPU driver, then reinstall the latest version from NVIDIA. Check you power plan and set to High Performance. Overheating can cause system instability, so make sure to monitor CPU and GPU temperatures using tools like HWMonitor or Core Temp. If temps are too high, the system may throttle performance or freeze. Make sure the cooler (ASUS ProArt LC 420) is properly installed and functioning.
If nothing works, try resetting the BIOS to default settings or perform a BIOS flashback to an earlier BIOS version, which might provide better stability for your particular hardware configuration. Or use this Intel troubleshooting site here Random System Crashes

Hello and thanks for your reply
I have tried everything you describe , all the components work perfectly via the stress tests , the problemn remains , I asume after many tests and hard thinking that is maybe the M/B bios that cause the instability issue and I have to contact ASUS for further support

Hi Andreas_Marag,
I made some adjustments, and my system has been running stably for a day:
Updated the BIOS to the version released on 2025/01/10 and set iGPU to Disabled.
Used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode to completely remove both NVIDIA and Intel GPU drivers. I also disabled Windows Update's automatic driver updates(DDU Options) and reinstalling the NVIDIA graphics driver.
Booted back into normal mode, installed the NVIDIA App and NVIDIA Control Panel, and confirmed that all settings are using the NVIDIA GPU.
I hope this helps you!

Same issue with the same motherboard. I'm done with ASUS and switching to MSI. This motherboard has been nothing but trouble from the start. I managed to keep it stable for just two straight days without restarts, freezes, or other issues, but now it's acting up again.
ASUS support keeps pointing fingers at the RAM. I even switched to the RAM they recommended, but the same problems persist. Now, they admit it’s likely the motherboard itself. Honestly, I think the real problem is with ASUS as a company—they can't seem to make reliable software or hardware anymore.
Goodbye, ASUS. Never again!

We throw lots of money to ASUS products and without any gain , we only manage to put ourselfs in great suffer and saddnes
I spent € 450 for the M/B of the title and now I have to give at least the same amount to buy a second one (from another brand of course)
too bad , too bad ...

I also have Asus Tuf Z890-Plus Wifi and I have a different problem. All bios up to 1206 work perfectly on my motherboard. But from Bios version 1403 onwards my motherboard no longer works properly. The board starts and gets to the Asus logo and then restarts again by itself in an endless loop.
So Bios 1403 and 1404 make my motherboard unusable.
Thank God you can flash the old bios onto it using Bios FlashBack. At the moment my board works without problems with Bios 1206.
I have contacted Asus Support. They are currently checking the problem. I think a new bios will be released soon that will solve the problem.
I wonder why Bios 1404 works for you and not for me?
Btw, i know that is Asus problem. Why you post in Intel Forum ?
My system;
Asus Tuf Z890-Plus Wifi
Intel Core Ultra 5 245K
2x16GB G.SkillTrident Z5 7600MTs
Asus Dual RTX 4070
Lexar 4TB SSD
Asus Tuf Display WQHD
Windows 11 pro 24H2

So I won't immediately send the manufacturer to hell if there's a small problem. This can happen with all manufacturers. If you have problems with the current BIOS, you have the option of flashing back BIOS 1206 and then waiting until Asus releases a stable BIOS. The motherboard is new on the market and it's clear that you have to expect teething issues. I've been buying Asus motherboards for 25 years and have been very happy so far and will continue to buy Asus motherboards. Because Asus has the best BIOS programmers in the world. If you think that such problems only occur with Asus, then look in the MSI and Gigabyte forums to see what problems users are having.
You wrote that you paid €450 for your motherboard? Because I paid €275 including cashback.
There is currently no better motherboard in this price range.
Okay, back to the instability. Do you also have problems with BIOS version 1206?
Btw, I also use iGPU for screen recording. That's why I always have it enabled and it works great.
