Hi @rmdhakbar,

Please disregard the error message on the IDSA. We can proceed with manual installation. Currently, we are on graphics driver version 32.0.101.6739. To obtain this version, download the driver and follow the instructions in the article "Windows Update keeps rolling back the graphics device drivers to an older version." If you encounter any challenges during this process, please let me know so we can schedule a remote assistance session. Provide me with your preferred time for a callback, and once you need a callback, update me here so I can gather your personal information via email. I look forward to your response.

Please note that this is an OEM device, so we will try to assist you with general troubleshooting steps. However, if the issue persists, you will have to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer of your device. Your device manufacturer may have altered features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to some components for better compatibility with your system.

1. right now i pause my windows update for about 2 weeks, till when i keep my windows pause their update?

2. i saw couple a video that recomend me to always check the clean installation on every update it is true or not?

Hi @rmdhakbar,

Thank you for your update, and I'm glad to hear that the solution worked for you. Let me address your questions to help ensure smooth updates in the future:

  1. It's important to keep Windows Update turned on once your driver is fully updated. Windows patches are crucial for security updates and system stability. We only temporarily disable it during troubleshooting to prevent conflicts with driver detection. I recommend resuming Windows updates now to keep your system secure and reboot the system then check if issue is fully resolved.
  2. Performing a clean installation can be beneficial, especially if you're experiencing issues with previous drivers. However, it's not always necessary for every update. If your system is running smoothly, a standard update should suffice. Use clean installation primarily when troubleshooting or resolving specific driver issues.
