Intel Arc a750 Graphics Card Settings: Mosaicking and Sharpening Explained

Hello, sorry for using translation. My video card is Intel Arc a750 and I have a question about the settings for games in the Arc control panel. Do the tessellation and sharpening settings need to be on? What do these settings do and ideally what percentage should I set these settings to, or does 100% work best? Can you enlighten me on this? Additionally, will the settings be different in games with xess turned on? Thank you!

Hello Furkann,

Thank you for posting in the Intel communities. We will help you to better understand the tessellation and sharpening options available in Arc Control and the difference when XESS is enabled. However, to better assist you, we would like to check this information internally, and we will post back as soon as we have additional details.

Best regards,

Hello Furkann,

We appreciate your patience, we apologize for the delay in our response. About your consultation, you can find the definition of both settings by hovering the mouse pointer over the question mark next to the name. Tessellation basically serves to increase the apparent detail. As for sharpening it basically refines edges. There is no recommended setting for any since this is mostly a personal preference. We invite you to play around with these features and find the setting that better suits your wants.

Finally, yes, these settings are different from XeSS. If you want to know more about this technology, please visit our XeSS Super Sampling home page.

Hello Furkann,

We hope that the information we shared about the Tessellation and the sharpening options has been helpful. We will now proceed to close this thread. If you require further assistance, please open a new thread, as Intel will no longer monitor this one.
