Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows* driver for 12700K iGPU?

I don't have an ARC GPU but do have a 12700K.  The Intel driver assistance shows the Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows* driver in the list of recommended drivers for my system.  It's unclear whether or not it's applicable.  Should I be installing this driver and if not how can I fix the driver assistance from recommending it?

You can definitely proceed to install the Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows* driver version 31.0.101.4091 (latest). Even though the name may lead to think otherwise, this driver it is designed for your processor's integrated graphics (Intel® UHD Graphics 770). 


The Intel® Driver & Support Assistant should always notify you of driver updates based on your device specifications. In any case, you can check the driver compatibility in the driver's page (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/726609/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-whql-windows.html?) under the Platform (OS Support) section or by going to the processor's specifications page (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/134594/intel-core-i712700k-processor-25m-cache-up-to-5-00-ghz/specifications.html) and then going to the Downloads section, where you can see the available drivers/software programs for your processor.
