I was wondering if Intel Celeron are grouped into 1/2/3/4th generations of intel. I was confused about these generations as they had this i3, i5 and i7. And how about the 2000, 3000, 4000 series?

The processors are: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2940 @1.83Ghz 1.83Ghz
