Intel DSA and Windows Update driver update conflict

For UHD 750  graphics running on i5-11600K CPU in a desktop PC (not OEM), Intel DSA says 30.0.100.9684 is the latest version of the driver but Windows Update thinks 27.20.100.9466 is the latest version so they keep overwriting each other daily. What do I need to do to get version 30.0.100.9684 of the driver installed so that Windows Update doesn't roll it back to 27.20.100.9466?

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. Have you tried reinstalling the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA)?

- Uninstaller: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19333/intel-driver-support-assistant-uninstaller.html?v=t

- Tool: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

2. Have you tried manually updating the driver?

3. Are you using a supported browser (Firefox, Chrome, Edge)?

Try this:

1. In the search box write: Advanced System Settings. Click on View Advanced System Setting to open it.

2. In Hardware tab, click on Device Installation Settings.

3. Check No and then Save Changes.

Thanks for the suggestion but the driver still gets rolled back by Windows Update even after selecting 'No' in Device Installation Settings.

Hi Deivid,
I am using Chrome browser. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the Intel Driver & Support Assistant but that didn't help. I tried manually installing the driver from the command line and that seems to have fixed the issue. The two update processes are no longer overwriting each other. Hopefully the fix will persist and the conflict won't return the next time a driver update is released.
Thanks!
