I currently use driver version v27.20.100.9664 for my Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU, which is the custom driver recommended by Dell <here> on my Inspiron 15 5584 support page.
The previous Intel Driver & Support Assistant (DSA) v25.2.15.9 (rel. 09-Apr-2025) correctly recommended the "generic" Intel Graphics Driver v31.0.101.2135 for 7th-10th Gen Intel Core Processor Graphics released on 03-Mar-2025, which is the same driver currently recommended on my Intel UHD Graphics 620 support page at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/products/126789/graphics/processor-graphics/intel-uhd-graphics-family/intel-uhd-graphics-620.html. An image of my Intel (DSA) v25.2.15.9 scan was posted <here> in a previous topic.
For some reason, the new Intel DSA v25.3.24.7 (rel.10-Jun-2025) is now recommending an old Intel Graphics Driver v31.0.101.2121 for 6th-10th Gen Intel Core Processor Graphics that was released two years ago on 05-Apr-2023, even though Intel DSA v25.3.24.7 correctly identifies my Win 10 v22H2 OS, 8th Gen Intel i5-8265U CPU, and other devices and drivers.
A clean reinstall of Intel DSA v25.3.24.7 using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant Uninstaller (DSAUninstaller.exe) did not solve the problem.

IDSA is a pathetic piece of software and causes more problems than it fixes.
I would stop using IDSA (eliminate it from your machine) and download the driver directly from this link:

it does appear that the latest Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (DSA) v25.3.24.7 may be incorrectly recommending an outdated graphics driver (v31.0.101.2121) for your system, despite accurately detecting your Intel UHD Graphics 620 and 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8265U CPU running on Windows 10 Pro v22H2
...hence, i agree to @AlHill Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA) has shown inconsistent behavior and, in some cases, appears to introduce more complications than it resolves. download the driver directly from this link intel 7th gen CPU graphics

Hi AlHill / jbruceyu:
Thanks for your feedback. I'll just wait a bit longer to see if @RandyT_Intel or one of the other Intel employees wants to collect any logs before I uninstall Intel DSA v25.3.24.7.
I recently discovered that Intel DSA v25.2.15.9 (rel. 13-Apr-2025) and higher now requires 32-bit Microsoft .NET v8.0 (x86) - see the ISDA release history <here> and my 13-Jun-2025 post # 2782417 in my AskWoody.com topic KB5056686 (.NET v8.0.15) Delivered Twice in April 2025. The programs highlighted in red in the image below show all the software that has appeared on my system since my clean reinstall of Intel DSA v25.3.24.7 on 13-Jun-2025. I have no idea why Intel DSA now triggers the installation of both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) editions of Microsoft ASP .NET Core 8.0.x Shared Framework [i.e., in addition to 32-bit MS .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x (x86)], but all this extra bloat is just one more reason for me to stop using Intel DSA.
NOTE: The 64-bit edition of MS .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.17 (x64) shown above is is a pre-requisite for my QuickInstaller software and probably has nothing to do with Intel DSA v25.x. The x64 edition was updated to v8.0.17 when Windows Update installed my June 2025 Patch Tuesday updates on 13-Jun-2025.
