Intel GPA's Graphics Monitor crashes on launch on Windows 10.

1. I need Intel GPA.

2. I worked with it 3 years ago with great success.

3. 1 year ago I installed the newest version - the Graphics Monitor crashed upon launch. I had Windows 8 back then (as I did 3 years ago).

4. I did not need the app that much back then so I ignored it.

5. Today (27.09.17) I tried installing it again on Windows 10 - the same crash with no warnings and/or messages.

6. I am trying to access the forums - "An error occured while trying to log you in. Please contact customer support". Mind: I did successfully login to download the GPA just 20 minutes before that.

7. I am trying to create a Support account. The login screen is different, my login credentials get recognized ok, but then I am asked to enter my name/surname/etc: the boxes DO NOT WORK. No text can be entered The "Next" button is grayed out.

8. Thankfully I am able to enter the forum when googling "Intel Forums" and singing in from a different Intel foum language page.

Is this still "Intel"?

P.S. Would be very grateful if anyone could help me launch Graphics Monitor without a crash.

Since my last post I installed Nvidia NSight for Visual Studio. It has improoved a lot since I used it 3 years ago and no longer has limitations which forced me to download GPA back then. Don't think I will be using GPA any more in the future.

I was reviewing your system specifications, and I can see that you are a second generation processor.You are currently having this issue because you are using Windows® 10, and the second generation processors support up to Windows® 8. I would recommend you to downgrade to Windows® 8 to get full support, and also to allow Intel® GPA to work properly.Regards,Xavier A.

So the integrated graphics inside my cpu does not support Windows 10 right? While I am using NVidia GPU I am ok to use Windows 10 to it's full potential, is that correct?

Al, your links only show that the processor does not support Windows 10, I've already understood that, what I am looking for is a detailed explanation of what am I loosing or what are the consequences of the Win 10 not being supported, for I am working on Windows 10 for around a year now and I haven't noticed anything suspiccious apart from GPA not working, and I do use my PC quite heavily in many areas.

Everything is not working ok, otherwise you would not have problems with the GPA.; You have been provided with a link to supported graphics and processors for windows 10. The consequences of continuing in this unsupported environment is continued graphics issues and, eventual failure to update to the next release of Windows 10.

Simply put, your graphics and processor are not supported.

Hey Xavier, thanks for your time, I am fine. Thanks to Al's comments I am now certain that I need to downgrade. Given that DX12 mostly focuses on CPU optimization it is quite logical that my CPU does not support Win 10. It's quite a dissapointment that Microsoft does not directly tell this to me even though it has all the opportunity in the world.

Did you try a 3 year old version of GPA, i.e. older than Windows 10?
