Intel HD 2500 integrated graphics - video green ghosting artifacts (Win10)

For the Intel HD 2500 integrated graphics, there has been video artifacts recently (from around Dec 2018). 

If you scroll through the frames manually, you can see where there are green spots (looks like green ghosting). There are no issues with 3D gaming.

I chose this video because these artifacts frequently occur when there is a lot of movement and this music video has quick changes in background scenes.

Also, I've turned off the video hardware acceleration flags in firefox, chrome, in the registry, etc, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. The CPU used doesn't really change, it's still in the 10% range.

I'm not sure when this started but it might have coincided with a windows 10 update.

Has anyone else seen this? If any devs are reading this, then I hope they're looking into the drivers. If anyone has any experience with this, please shout.

Intel releases only generic drivers . Its better you install certified customized driver from desktop or laptop manufacturer site.

I found that intel released latest version 15.33.47.5059 on 18 -09 -2018 ,

Thanks for the feedback.

I tried the original manufacturer drivers too but I still saw the same issue.

This perplexed me since I hadn't had this issue before. But then I saw that there was a similar kind of ghosting on a static picture when I was scrolling through a webpage quickly.

Then I realized it was a monitor setting issue.

I have an Asus monitor which has a Trace Free option, which is supposed to control blurring. This was set to 60 and the ghosting happened. When this is set to 20, there is no ghosting.

In summary, there is no issue with the drivers - check the monitor settings!
