I wanna use the Intel integrated graphics to display, leaving the Nvidia GPU to do simulations. My PC is a Dell machine with the Intel C216 Chipset inside. All drivers are up to date. But there is no output signal on the on-board VGA port whenever the Nvidia video card (Quadro 600) was installed. Neither in the BIOS nor in the Device Manager (win7 64) appeared the Intel graphics. It seemed that the Intel graphics had been completely switched off. Is there anyway for me to use the Nvidia card and the Intel graphics simultaneously, e.g., each of them connect to a different monitor? Thanks.

I understand you would like to use onboard graphics with external video card at same time.
At this point, it looks like your external video card disables onboard graphics electronically. This is expected if your computer does not support switchable graphics.
I recommend checking BIOS settings that enables your onboard graphics to work in conjunction with your external video card. Please check with Dell for more information.
