So im just tryna play fortnite with my friends but as soon as I go into a game the game crashes, and if it doesn't it just has insanely bad performance AKA freezes and stuttering. Never seen this happen before on other peoples Intel HD 620s but I need a fix for it.

Hi there
It sounds like your system might be having trouble running Fortnite smoothly. First, check if your CPU usage is reaching its limit during gameplay, as this could be causing the crashes. Additionally, using lower graphics settings might help alleviate the freezing and stuttering issues and also clear cache by deleting temp files. For reference, the minimum requirements for Fortnite are an Intel HD 4000 or AMD Radeon Vega 8 video card, a Core i3-3225 3.3 GHz processor, 8 GB of RAM, and either Windows 10 64-bit version 1703 or Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6. For better performance, you might want to consider investing in an external GPU, such as one from NVIDIA or AMD, or even an Intel ARC series, which could greatly improve your gaming experience.
I hope this helps Thank you😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

The Intel HD 4000 is a lower end GPU than the 620 as I know, so there shouldn't be any issues there. "lowest" playable graphics settings are set, and CPU IS at its limit when playing Fortnite, which idk how to fix. My CPU is an Intel i5-7300u with turbo on 3.5ghz, and I have 16 gigs of DDR4 ram. I don't see this as a problem as my system is above the minimum requirements, so therefore it should run fortnite WITHOUT these issues?
Also, I was planning on doing the external GPU but they are more expensive than just getting a new computer that doesn't have these problems, but I just got this one so I'm not planning on getting another one anytime soon.

I wanted to follow up and see if you had the opportunity to try the fixes I suggested earlier, like lowering the graphics settings and clearing the cache. Did those steps help with the crashes or improve performance at all? If you’re still experiencing issues, there might be other tweaks or updates we can look into, like checking for driver updates or optimizing the game files through the Epic Games launcher.
Thank you😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
