Hey guys kindly assist me with this my HDMI output has been problematic it only displays when I startup my laptop (Lenovo G580 running on Windows 10) and it displays the windows logo after which my lg TV then displays "connecting" then. "no signal from current output" ..I've updated the drivers but nothing has changed I also bought another HDMI cable but issue still persists.

From what you are saying, the Windows drivers are never connecting to the monitor. Are you running the latest drivers that Lenovo has posted on their website? Regardless, you'll need to talk to Lenovo about this. They are responsible for the laptop design and the LSPcon chip that is used to implement the HDMI connector. They are also responsible for the drivers used to support the graphics interface.

My Lenovo X230 has the HD 4000 but it uses DisplayPort so I need to use an adapter to hook it up to a TV or projector
