Hi, I am having a constant problem with Event Log errors, in addition to screen flickering or instability or flickering when using f.lux. Does anyone else have this issue?
I also need to point out that no action or program is needed to cause this error f.lux alone is not the sole cause, but it does make it worse. (it was happening before I even installed it). Laptop is less than 9 months from Release date, and have only owned for 2-3 months. Came with Windows 10 pre-installed from factory - not an upgrade. This issue is prevalent on Tech forums and can be found in Google searches as well. See below reply for additional Info (text limit met)

I have reviewed your post and I would like to know if you are still getting same issue, or were you able to test driver version: 4474?

Hi @allan_intel ,
I will attempt to test them. ASUS support site lists the latest driver as: http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks/F555UA/HelpDesk_Download/ F555UA | Notebooks | ASUS USA
Version: Version V10.18.15.4279
Should I install the generic drivers?
And my PC decided to update itself to Windows 10 Anniversary Release. I am attempting to work with the mess it created.

Hi,
I can recommend loading the latest generic video drivers because I have tested those drivers and I haven't noticed such problem.
Please try and let me know your findings.
Allan.

Hello Fga33 ,
Do you already have the latest drivers installed?
If your system has a 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel HD Graphics or newer, these drivers work for you: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26347/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26347/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345

It seems to be a hardware issue since you have tested several driver versions.
As last resort, please test graphics drivers version https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88355 4542

After all troubleshooting you have tried on this computer model, I strongly believe this is hardware issue.
