Hello everyone,
I tried to update my Intel HD Graphic driver to the 15.28.15.64.3062 version that came out 03/21/2013 and I'm pretty sure I don't have that version.
I downloaded the zip and the exe version but in both case it showed me the same error message:
"this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"
I checked and I do have all the requirements that are written in the "Installation_Readme" file. I'm only not sure about the third condition which is:
"There should be sufficient hard disk space in the directory on the system in order to install this software" because I don't know where to find
that information but i think I have space because I have about 20 GB free on my C/ disk.
These are my computer information:
Computer : Toshiba Satellite L655 PSK1EE
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M370 @2.40GHz
System type : 64-bit Operating System
Windows Edition : Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
If it's not enough just tell me what to add and how to find the information about it.
Thanks For Your Help!

Hello Adn1998,
I understand you need to install the latest Graphics driver for your Graphics controller.
Please note that the driver version 15.28.15.64.3062 that you are trying to install is for the 2nd generation processor or the Intel® HD graphics 3000/2000. This is the reason why it is showing errors when trying to install the driver.
The correct driver and the latest one from our side for your graphics controller can be downloaded from the following link:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20%2864-bit%29*&DownloadType=Drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20%2864-bit%29*&DownloadType=Drivers
It is important to mention that our driver is a generic driver. This is because we provide the hardware to the system manufacturer like in your case Toshiba, and they will design and create custom drivers for your system. Due to this, If you are having problems with this driver I suggest you contacting the Toshiba to get the specific drivers from them.
Just in case, here is their contact information:
800-457-7777
Thanks.

Hello,
Last night I tried to update my driver to the 15.28.15.64.3062. I restarted my computer as asked and when I restarted it, the screen was completely RED. I couldn't see anything. So, I shut off my computer and restarted it in Safe Mode with Networking and did a system restore to two days back. However, I still feel that I need to update my driver. Is there something you can help me with? Here is my computer information, please let me know if more is needed.

Hello STARRT,
Since you are running the latest driver version (3062) for your graphics controller, I suggest you running the previous driver version we have available at the following link:
It is also important to mention that the driver we provide is a generic driver that may work with your system. Due to this we recommend you contacting the system manufacturer website to download their latest driver and test their drivers that have been specifically designed and created for your computer.
Regards.

Hello jorgejb24,
I am afraid that the based on an agreement between Intel® and Apple, the support on Mac computers will be provided by Apple only.
At this point, I recommend you contacting Apple in order to get the support for your computer.
Thanks.

Hello, Kevin.
I'm having the same problem with my laptop. I can't update my Intel HD Graphic driver.
Here's my computer's specification:
- Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64 bit)
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M380 @ 2,53GHz
- Installed RAM 4GB
The problem occurred when I tried to run the Amnesia: The Dark Descent (Frictional Games) game. It shows a message like this: "FATAL ERROR: Renderer # 0 could not be initialized! Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date. Check log file for more information"
Thanks for your help!

Hi Locus,
If you have tried the steps mentioned above along with the manual driver installation, I recommend you contacting the computer manufacture so they can provide the driver designed for your system. Most of time, OEM computers have limitations as per the OEM design.
MarcosK,
You can try installing the following driver:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(64-bit)*&DownloadType=Drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22521&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(64-bit)*&DownloadType=Drivers
In case you are still having problems I recommend you contacting the game developer to confirm the game requirements or contacting the computer manufacture so they can provide the driver designed for your system.

Hi Kevin
It's not an OEM computer, I assembled it myself. There is already another video adapter in it - an ATI videocard, and I have Catalyst drivers installed for that... could it be causing some sort of software conflict, like Intel drivers trying to overwrite ATI drivers?

When installing Intel® drivers should not be affected by other drivers since the files are storage in a different location.
I recommend you if possible disconnecting the video card and uninstall the current driver and download the following:

That did the trick. Had to uninstall all the Catalyst drivers first and after that I was finally able to manually update the system drivers (exe still didn't work). Thanks loads.

Hi Deqz95,
Based on your system configuration you need to install this driver:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23714 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23714
emptyroom3,
The driver you need to install can be downloaded at the following page:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23764 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23764
Now, if you have any problem during the installation of the driver you can try the steps mentioned at the following link:

I tried to install that driver, but still had the "system does not reach minimum requirements." notice. I tried uninstalling like it said in the document, but still had the same notice. When I tried to manually install, there was a notification saying, "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date." Not sure what to do.

Hi emptyroom3,
The driver from our side is a generic driver that is why you get notifications messages. It is basically because the hardware is not matching correctly with the driver. At this point, my best recommendation is to contact your Computer Manufacture for them to provide the driver that has been designed specifically for your system.
oloshmrtvi93,
Please try this driver,
