Intel HD Graphics Family 4400 Driver Issues?

Alright... So I just bought this new Asus Notebook, and there is only one game that I want to play on it. The game is having Graphics issues and the only thing I can think of is the Graphics Card Drivers. I can't seem to get any Driver to work solidly and when I go into my Device Manager to look at my Graphics Card Properties, the Driver date is 4/30/2014. I highly doubt that is the latest driver for the Graphics Card. When I select 'Update Driver' in that menu, it says that it's up to date. My wife had the same issue with the same game but it was fixed after she updated her NVIDIA Graphics Card. Here are my specs:

The latest graphics driver would be version: 4156, you can download this driver here File name: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/24785/Intel-Iris-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24785/a08/win64_153618.exe win64_153618.exe

In most cases, the computer manufacturer has already configured the system to use the maximum amount of graphics memory that is possible for your particular computer model. Sometimes you can change these values through BIOS level.

If you are interested in additional information see graphics memory frequently asked questions:

Allan,

I get this error message when I try to update with that driver. I even checked to see if it updated regardless, and it did not.

That message indicates that your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video drives. You are required to install drivers from your computer manufacturer; however, you may try forcing the installation of Intel generic drivers by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions:

Download the zip version of the video driver: File name: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/24785/Intel-Iris-and-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24785/a08/win64_153618.zip win64_153618.zip
