software version  is  15.33.47.5059  , but  the driver file version is  10.18.10.5059 .

you have already downloaded  .exe file , use  WinRAR  extract file , open the graphics  folder , find "igdlh.inf"    find this line  "

DriverVer=08/16/2018,10.18.10.5059"  , you will to come know

Hello SKris19, Thank you for your response. As long as the build number is the same, .5059, then the driver was installed successfully. Are you still receiving the Code 48 after installing this driver version? Wanner G. Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation

I've actually had this exact same problem after installing this same update. It's very odd because I successfully installed the latest driver (10.18.10.5059), but I'm having the same Code 48 error. Any ideas of what to try? What do you mean "resetting" the PC? Did you roll back the update, skris19?

Never mind, I know what resetting the PC entails, but I would like to avoid that if possible since it would take a while to reinstall everything.

I think reset is the best option. I've contacted Intel and Microsoft customer care too they tried their level best but nothing has done, after reinstalling the window 10 1809 the problem has solved for me. why I'm telling to reset is because of some files won't be deleted after we upgrading our system to the newer version so the old files blocks some of the softwares and driver's. I've tried lot of troubleshooting nothing helped me after resetting,my PC came in to track.

I see. Thanks for the tip! I ended up with a temporary fix by rolling back the update, but that's not the best long term solution. I re-updated the driver to the latest version, and when I have time to work on it I'll try reinstalling the update and reset at that point if necessary. It's really unfortunate that this is happening. I hope Microsoft gets its act together a bit more with their updates so this doesn't happen again.
