This is what happens when I try to open the 3d part of Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. The video panel will not open at all. This is my new laptop http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.MBGAA.007 http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.MBGAA.007. How do I fix this?

Hello Person130, I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you have faced with your system and our Intel HD control panel.
I would suggest you installing the latest graphics driver available for your system.
Some computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video drives. However, you may try forcing the installation by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions: http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022355.htm
This is the latest graphic driver available version 3621

Thank you this worked. I'm just wondering if switching from oem drivers can affect battery life or performance.
