Intel Iris Xe Graphics OpenGL Fullscreen Problem

Hello, I have been having problems with some OpenGL games in fullscreen displaying graphic problems after a few seconds, I've tried updating to the latest drivers but it only makes it happen instantly instead of after a few seconds. I've tried the OEM (Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 16 Gb 13.3 inch model) drivers but its just a version of the drivers from March. If anyone could help fix this I'd be very grateful, thanks.

Half-Life, a twenty-three years old game does not run properly on a modern computer?

Right-click the executable and try the compatibility options.

Sorry but that doesnt help and is beside the point, Sven Co-op is a modern half life multiplayer game designed for modern systems. It is just a screenshot example as it does the same with programs made for computers in 2021, Thanks.

Hello @Caden

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

Just to make sure, we understand that the issue only occurs in Full-Screen mode. Is this correct? Does this mean that there are no issues if you switch to windowed mode? In order to check this further, could you please provide us with more details and the following information?

1- We understand that you tested the OEM drivers from Samsung*. However, it is not clear if those drivers also experience the issue. Could you please confirm? Do the games work fine with the OEM drivers? Do they experience the same problem or a different issue/behavior? Please provide details.

2- Did the system work fine before or are you experiencing this issue since the first day that you have the computer?

3- If this worked fine before at any moment, were there any recent hardware or software changes that might relate to the point when the issue started? (For instance, Windows®, BIOS, driver, or game updates?)

4- Please provide the name or examples of the games that you play and experience this behavior. If the games experience different problems besides the one shown in the screenshot you uploaded, please provide more details. Feel free to share more screenshots or a short video to show the behaviors.

5- An Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) report to gather more details about the system. Please follow these steps:

  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
  • Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.

To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
