Dear all,

I have two questions regarding connection and operation of two different monitors connected to  - one to HDMI output and the other to Display Port output of Intel UHD Graphics 770 with Windows 11 Pro 64 bit.

1) Is it possible to connect and operate simultaneously two monitors with the same resolution (4K) but at different refresh rates - one at 60HZ and the other at 30HZ connected to Intel UHD Graphics 770 and how to set it up in Intel Graphics Center?

2) Is it possible to connect and operate simultaneously two monitors with the same refresh rate - 60HZ and with different resolution - one running at 3840 x 2160 resolution and the other at 1280 x 1024 resolution connected to Intel UHD Graphics 770 and how to set it up in Intel Graphics Center?

1- The answer is Yes, this is even possible for clone mode as per this Intel's article it is possible: https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/support/articles/000005580/graphics.html

Settings for multiple displays

What is clone mode and how do I enable it?

Clone mode is used to send the same content, resolution, and color depth to different display devices at different refresh rates.

2- Yes, you can set 2 displays at the same refresh rate and different resolution. however, this is not possible on clone mode as this mode sends the same resolution to both monitors.

Notes:

Keep in mind that each monitor must support de specific combination of resolution plus refresh rate that you would want to achieve, otherwise, the gpu controller won't show it or allow to select it...
