Hello all,
I would recommend to install the latest version of the Graphics Driver from our site, which it would be the following https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25620/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-6th-Gen- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40 6th Gen], I would also recommend a manual installation of the driver. I have updated the driver a few times so far with the update driver under properties, and it says I have the best driver available. It seems stable today. The current driver is 10.18.15.4279
Next time it fails I will use the licks supplied and do it manually as well. Thanks for the replies. I will update as to how it goes.

Further to my previous message I also see that Photoshop CC is unable to use graphics acceleration and shows an error message that says that there is an error in the display driver

chrismansfield, have you tried contacting Lenovo in regard to this matter?
Could you please be more specific about this error message? Attach a picture if it is possible.
What is the driver version that you have installed?

Hi again Amy, thank you for your efforts so far .. Lenovo have so far not replied at all to my enquiries..
the current driver is dated 24th august 2015 and is ver:10.18.15.4279
I have attached a screenshot of the error message ...
One of my main activities on this machine is using Photoshop and although this works, the programme show a message that it
cannot take advantage of graphics acceleration because there is a problem with the display driver ..
If it is easier, my email is mailto:c.mansfield1@sky.com c.mansfield1@sky.com

Exact message that I'm getting, along with everyone else that I've seen on other posts. Sounds like a huge issue that no one is correcting. Hp's site only shows the driver I currently have, so no joy.

This driver crashing issue has been escalated to our engineering team, we are just waiting for any update on this matter. I still do not have an estimate time of resolution.

There is a good chance that the newest driver will solve this issue. Install 4352 via device manager disc install method, maybe you have to deinstall your current driver.

OK, I managed to install 4352 and most issues seem to have cleared.. but not all ... Photoshop is still unable to use graphics acceleration and shows a message saying there is a fault with graphics .

Is it possible to get a screenshot of the error message?
Have you tried posting this on the Photoshop Forums? https://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop https://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop.
In the meantime I would recommend to check the following links in order to address this behavior;

Hello once again,
I could do a screenshot of the photoshop message, however the writing is so tiny I doubt it would be readable ... The message does not pop up as an error.. It only becomes visible when you try to set "Use Graphics processor" option .. the actual wording of the message is ....... Photoshop detected an error in your display driver. Update or reinstall the driver and check 'use graphics processor' to retry ..
Since updating the driver as mentioned in my last message the situation is a lot better but I do still get the original screen crash once or twice a day , usually when using photoshop ..
Chris
