Hello everyone,

Intel is interested in creating short support videos that cover topics or issues that you care the most.

Just to name a few examples:

  • In Arc Control what is the "Opt in Driver Boost" feature and how does it work?
  • How to report issues to Intel Support?
  • Common troubleshooting tips.
  • How to configure collage mode in IGCC.

We want to hear your suggestions so feel free to respectfully voice your ideas and requests and they may get done soon!

Best Regards,

Ronald M.

I want to let you know how thrilled I am about purchasing my ARC A750.  For example: I am running the newly released game Remnant 2 on my A750 and the ingame settings are set to Ultra with xess balanced. I am getting over 60 fps and very smooth gameplay @1080p  with these settings. I use games to test the systems I build. I have 4 gaming systems in my office for my grandchildren to use when they visit, which is quite often.

Thank you Intel for providing the gaming community with an alternative. I hope you get a well deserved place in the competitive GPU market.

Hello Intel,

Thank you for reaching out and showing interest in creating support videos for your users.  Here are some suggestions for support video topics:

  1. Optimizing Gaming Performance - A video explaining how to use Intel's graphics control panel to enhance gaming performance on different systems.

  2. Driver Updates and Installation - A step-by-step guide on how to update and install Intel graphics drivers, including the importance of keeping drivers up-to-date.

  3. Understanding Graphics Settings - An overview of various graphics settings and their impact on performance and visual quality.

  4. Multimonitor Setup - A tutorial on how to set up and configure multiple monitors using Intel graphics.

  5. Overcoming Common Errors - A video addressing common errors users might encounter with Intel graphics and how to troubleshoot them.

  6. Intel Graphics Features Deep Dive - Exploring advanced graphics features like Quick Sync, Adaptive Sync, or Display Color Enhancement, and how to make the most of them.

  7. Intel Graphics and Software Compatibility - Discussing compatibility with popular software applications and how to resolve compatibility issues.

  8. Optimizing Graphics for Battery Life - Tips on how to adjust graphics settings to extend laptop battery life.

  9. Intel Graphics for Content Creation - Highlighting how Intel graphics can be used effectively for tasks like video editing, 3D modeling, and graphic design.

  10. Intel Graphics Updates and News - Periodic updates on new driver releases, feature enhancements, and important announcements.

Remember to keep the videos concise, well-structured, and user-friendly, and ensure they address common user concerns comprehensively. It's a great initiative to engage with your user community and provide them with valuable support.

Best of luck with your support video creation, and I hope these suggestions are helpful!

  1. Understanding Graphics Settings - An overview of various graphics settings and their impact on performance and visual quality. I would love a quick highlight of commonly used terms like "Post-Processing" and "CUDA" and "Anti-Aliasing" and so-forth.  How can I (we?) optimize settings based on indivual game workloads?

Hi RonaldM_Intel,

I have two suggestions.

The first is a backgrounder of HDMI and DisplayPort cables and their ports on ARC graphics cards and monitors. This would include a simple explanation of current specifications and speeds/bandwidth, what to look for when purchasing a suitable cable and/or monitor so it delivers the required bandwidth, why ARC cards may have multiple/repeated ports of a particular type and if there is any difference between using any one of the same types (e.g. if there are three DP ports on an ARC card, does it matter which one is used?) and also if Intel have a recommended cable type and/or specification e.g. HDMI vs DisplayPort to get the best experience.

The second suggestion is slightly off topic. I appreciate that Intel are devoting a lot of resources to driver development. However, as an ARC A770 LE owner, I would appreciate the chance to contribute to a survey on hardware or ARC Control software features, managed by Intel, that I would ideally like to see in future versions. I had previously owned AMD graphics cards and AMD often ran surveys, available via a link in their AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. Perhaps Intel could incorporate something similar in ARC Control - e.g. a link to an online survey of features users would like to see in the future. Suggestions might be;

  1. a Frame Limiter to keep the GPU running a cool as possible and stop it generating frames over a set value.
  2. VRAM downclocking to a minimal value when idling on the desktop
  3. A lower minimal overall power consumption when the GPU idling on the desktop
  4. Changing the shape, colour, font of the telemetry overlay
  5. Adding a FPS counter to the telemetry overlay

I apologise for going off topic for my second suggestion.

This really sucks. I spent a lot of time filling out a question to post on the forums. When I clicked to submit it, I got a message back that my validation failed, without giving me the opportunity to fix that. It just wiped out my entire post. I'm not going to reconstruct all my work. That just burns me and discourages me from ever coming back to this forum.

Recently, I have been facing several challenges with my Intel Arc A770 Phantom Gaming D ASRock Video Card. Firstly, I noticed an audio desynchronization when watching videos on YouTube. In addition, the performance in games has been below my expectations and what the card promises to deliver. To further complicate the situation, the Intel Arc Control disables the fan curve adjustment feature of my card, which affects performance adjustment. I am in search of solutions to these problems.

Can you make a video where you release a video driver without major issues? I would appreciate that since last 2 months you can't do it so at least video would be encouraging

I want to install Windows 10 on my Lenovo laptop (Yoga 12), but I can't go to the boot menu. Is this problem for BIOS, how can I update BIOS? If so, share a video about it.
