Assalam-o-Alaikum (Peace be upon you);
I have a question, is it possible to correctly enable Iris Xe graphics on mixed channel memory (8gb+4gb)? Or strict dual channel is required (8gb+8gb)?

Hello Samurai84,

Thank you for posting in the Intel Communities. We would be more than glad to help you.

Based on your question, we want to let you know that to properly enable Iris® Xe Graphics, the system must be in dual-channel memory configuration. You should consult with your computer manufacturer for more information.

If you do not have a dual-channel memory configuration, it doesn't mean that the GFX engine will not work. It just means that it will run in the lesser Intel UHD Graphics mode.
