I'm getting the attached error message from Norton Antivirus when try to update the graphics driver recommended by Intel Driver & Support Assistant. I first had to disable Adlice Antivirus that first halted it stating malicious code or something.
Meanwhile Norton Driver Updater doesn't recognize this version and installs an older one released in June 2025.

Hi @OldMechanic,
The error message states: “The installer couldn’t find INF files in the driver bundle.” For best compatibility, I recommend using only drivers provided by your system manufacturer. The generic Intel driver from Intel Driver Support Assistant provides users with the latest and greatest feature enhancements and bug fixes that computer manufacturers (OEMs) might not have customized yet. OEM drivers are handpicked and include customized features and solutions to platform-specific needs. Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite your handpicked OEM graphics driver. Users can check for matching OEM driver versions at OEM websites.
Best regards,

Hi @OldMechanic,
Thank you for posting here in community. It was confirmed graphics driver, 32.0.101.8136, which successfully addresses a previously reported issue affecting system performance and stability.
As always, it is recommended to download drivers directly from Intel’s official website or through trusted system update utilities to ensure authenticity and compatibility.

I labeled it as "ignore" in Norton Driver Updater.
32.0.101.8136 is apparently incompatible with the Intel graphics on my Dell XPS.
I got the attached message upon trying to install it.
I have Intel Driver and Support Assistant running in the background and use it, now.
