Light Flickering Star Wars Outlaws

Hi Everyone!

I am currently playing Star Wars Outlaws on my Arc A770 with ReBar, which is working perfectly fine when playing with FSR 3 and framegen on but all of the lights in the game flicker and really ruin some of the in-game areas like bigger Citys etc.

It’s not as bad when turning on Xess but the game is literally unplayable when playing with Xess on since it’s not giving huge boosts to fps at all and the image looks unnaturally blurry for some reason, almost like it’s out of focus.

Is there any solution to get rid of the flickering yet? I remember that there were similar issues in different games in the past before that got solved with a driver update but the current one doesn’t solve the issue unfortunately.

Many thanks,
Sandro

Hello SandroRubbers,

Thanks for reaching out! I understand how frustrating the light flickering can be, especially in large in-game environments. It sounds like you've already done a great job optimizing your setup with Re Bar and FSR 3.

To assist you further, could you help with the following details?

  • What is the driver version you're using for your Arc A770?
  • Have you noticed this issue in other games, or is it specific to Star Wars Outlaws?
  • Are there any particular game settings that seem to trigger or alleviate the flickering (besides Xess)?
  • Have you tried adjusting lighting or frame generation settings in the game?

Additionally, please generate an SSU report to help me analyze important details on your system. To generate the SSU report, please refer to the article: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*. Kindly send us the generated SSU.txt file.
