Hi, Piyush_Verma03.
Based on your configuration, it should indeed be capable of handling these games at 1080p with good performance. However, the issue you’re describing, especially with the drastic drop in FPS when switching to MSAA x8 and the low FPS in other games suggests that there may be a few factors at play.
You mentioned having the latest GPU driver, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable us to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue. To ensure your privacy and security, I recommend not sharing the Intel SSU logs on public forums, as they contain sensitive information about your system. Instead, please send the SSU logs to me via email. Once I receive the logs, I'll be able to further investigate the issue and assist you more effectively. After that, we can continue our communication in the community forum if needed.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Piyush_Verma03.
Thank you for sending the Intel SSU logs via email; I’ve received them. MSAA x8 can be very demanding. It could be a good idea to try a lower level of MSAA or switch to other anti-aliasing techniques like TAA or FXAA. MSAA tends to put a heavy load on the GPU, especially with a demanding game like Assassin's Creed Unity. While the Intel i5 12400F is a solid mid-range processor, it’s possible that in some CPU-heavy titles, it might be a bottleneck when paired with a high-performance GPU. In the meantime, I will need to conduct further research on this issue and will provide an update on this thread as soon as it's available.
Best regards,

I had a friend help with optimisation and he checked if cpu was being bottle necked. He reduced cpu load by lowering anisotropic filtering and shadow quality to check if MSAA 8x was causing the cpu to overload but it didn't work. There wasnt even a single change in performance even after reducing cpu load so we don't know what is causing these problems

Hello, Piyush_Verma03.
I appreciate your feedback. To better assist you with the issue you're experiencing, I suggest creating a separate thread for each game so we can troubleshoot them individually. In the meantime, could you please provide the following information to help us investigate further?
- What digital game service are you using to play these games?
- Please share a screenshot of the game settings so we can attempt to replicate them on our end.
- For each game, could you run it for about 2 minutes and share the CapFrameX data with us?
- Please perform a Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the current graphics driver, then reinstall the latest graphics driver (32.0.101.6647 WHQL Certified).
After that, check if there is any improvement.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Piyush_Verma03.
Yes, faulty RAM can definitely cause crashes, BSODs, and other system instability issues. If Windows Memory Diagnostic detected hardware problems, it's a strong indication that your RAM might be faulty.
Meanwhile, have you had a chance to review or try my previous suggestion? I recommended using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove the current graphics driver and then reinstall the latest version (32.0.101.6647 WHQL Certified). Additionally, please provide the information I requested on 03-16-2025.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Piyush_Verma03.
I appreciate you sharing your game settings and letting us know about your RAM replacement. To answer your question, faulty or unstable RAM can indeed cause FPS drops, though the severity can vary.
In the meantime, please let me know once you have installed the RAM and updated the graphics driver to the latest graphics version. If the issue persists, we can proceed with further troubleshooting. Additionally, regarding CapFrameX, kindly provide performance data for these games. This will help us analyze performance metrics more thoroughly and identify any potential issues. Please ensure that the CapFrameX file captures at least 2 minutes of gameplay for accurate analysis.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Piyush_Verma03,
I will be assisting you with your concern on behalf of my colleague, Von. Please provide us with the results from CapFrameX so we can offer steps to improve the performance of your GPU. Regarding GPU tuning settings, if you're unsure about adjustments, simply reset them to the default settings, as this will not void the warranty.
Best regards,
John Sergio M.

Hello, Piyush_Verma03.
It’s great to hear that switching to DXVK helped improve your experience. No worries about the delayed response. I completely understand. Please be advised that the latest graphics driver version is available for Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*. I recommend using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the current graphics driver before reinstalling the latest version, as this may help resolve the issue.
Once the reinstallation is complete, please check if there are any improvements. Additionally, for each game, kindly run it for approximately 2 minutes and share the CapFrameX data with us for further analysis.
Best regards,
Von M.
