Hi, so I installed the latest drivers for my HD2500 GFX, I noticed they fixed the issues with the CYBCr resting itself but now my monitor does not go to sleep, it just goes to a black screen and stays powered on, anyone else have this problem, any fix available apart from using an older driver that have the CYBCr issue.
Cheers.

I was finally able to get my HDMI monitor to sleep! I uninstalled the Intel driver and downloaded the driver file from the Russian Gigabyte website. I am actually in the U.S. but the Gigabyte U.S. site only had the most recent (failing) driver. This is an old version 9.18.10.3186 from May. It fixed my issue and may help some others, too.
Here is the link:

Good luck!

It looks like that's the version available from all the various Gigabyte sites, including the U.S. site. That version does eradicate this issue, and my monitors go into full power save mode as they should. I must have never tried those drivers as I'm sure they were available when I bought the motherboard ... I think what happened is I saw them labeled as VGA drivers and the motherboard has no VGA port. Even after 30 years of writing software, there are still those "live and learn" (or, if you're less charitable, "dumb*ss") moments.....

I did the same thing, but the version on the US site at the time was a more recent July 2013 driver version. It appears that they have reverted to the older May driver release. Hmm... I wonder why they would do that!? I was at my wit's end and just said "It couldn't hurt to try this one". I hope this will help others here with the same issue, and I'm glad I could offer at lest a short-term fix.
Ironically, I do seem to now have a slight issue where occasionally my main display will not wake up, but my second and third will. It is intermittent and may be something in my display. I can live with this as a quick power-cycle brings it back to life.

Hi guys,
We really sorry for the inconvenience you are having. Can you please try the driver from the link below?
/docs/DOC-21232 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-21232
This is a driver for win 8.1 but it also works on Win 7 and 8 and it seems that this does not present this problem. Let me know the results.

This took care of my problem with the screen going blank and the monitor not actually turning off also. I have an ECS H61H2-M2 motherboard with an i5-3570K. I was using the ECS drivers, but for whatever reason Quick Sync wasn't enable with their video drivers. So "upgraded" to the recommended Intel drivers and then turning off the display automatically stopped working. So, after googling for solutions and trying a few other things, I found the beta drivers, installed them, and my problem was fixed.

Me too!
I also have this issue in windows 7. related to updated driver, no issue with older driver. currently running driver version 9.18.10.3257I just updated to the most recent drivers after a fresh windows install because of this issue, among others, and it just caused my screen problem again.
Two hp zr22w monitors, the one with dvi-d sleeps fine but the one running display port does NOT, it just displays a black screen, staying on.
The computer exhibited normal operation on the several-generations old drivers that came with my motherboard, and I believe the next edition of the driver. the most recent driver does not sleep both screens correctly.
OS: windows 7 pro
Mobo: P8z77-v pro
cpu: 3770k
GPU: none/HD4000
