Buenas tardes, he seleccionado para la pregunta Graphics, porque no encontraba como catalogarla.

Tengo un problema con un nuc5i5myhe, el problema es que da un error cmos de la pila cada vez que quito corriente del nuc.

Si apago y enciendo el nuc sin quitar corriente no pierde configuración de fecha de bios, ni configuración propia amt (mebx).

¿Como se debería configurar por bios efi o jumpers, para que este nuc no pierda la configuración?

He cambiado la pila , pero sigo teniendo el mismo problema.

All you should have needed to do was replace the CMOS battery. If you have done so and it continues to act the same way, then the battery is likely incorrect for your NUC. You have to be careful to see that the red and black wires are in the same position in the connector. Compare what you have to the new one and see if they exactly match.

Muchas gracias por la ayuda.

Efectivamente ya he cambiado la pila, pero el problema es que el nuc ya tenía ese procedimiento, antes de cambiarla.

Por eso preguntaba si hay alguna opción de jumpers o configuración de bios que implique que no guarde al quitar corriente del nuc.

La pila viene encapsulada con sus cables y conectada a la placa, y entiendo que es igual, aunque para hacer una prueba más real intentaré poner una pila de otro nuc del mismo modelo que si este guardando la configuración y cambiarla a esta para ver si efectivamente la pila que he montado no es compatible con este nuc.

Agradecería alguna web o enlace de compra para pila especifica de este nuc.

Y volver a preguntar si hay alguna configuración vía jumper en placa del nuc o por bios que obligue a guardar la configuración por si no fuera la pila.

Hi @kike51 

The battery comes encapsulated with its cables, but many times, the battery on sale, have inverted wire polarity from the polarity required by NUC (i.e. the red and black wires on the connector are inverted). Compare the red and black wire location on your battery connector to the image in this document. If they are inverted you may fix it.  It is worthy to check the voltage of the new battery as well.

To answer your question: no, there is no jumper to save the time and date in case of battery failure.

Efectivamente la pila que estaba poniendo tiene los cables invertidos en la parte del molex, los he cambiado y ha funcionado.

No debería este dispositivo detectar el cambio de polaridad y que funcionara?

No, the circuit has no polarity detection capability. It is expected that you have provided a new battery with correct polarity. It is too bad that Dell chose to use the opposite polarity and their batteries are more popular in the marketplace.
