Hello,
So I have a problem that I'm hoping one of you can answer. I'm somewhat new to this kind of thing, so please be gentle
I'm trying to update my graphics drivers to play a game. Here's all the system information I could find:
Processor: Intel Core i3-3110M CPU
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Manufacturer Make: Gateway
Manufacturer Model: NV76R (laptop)
OS revision: Windows 7 64-bit, unsure of specific version number (if necessary, if you can tell me how to determine this I can provide this information)
So I went to the drivers section, searched my graphics card and found a download that (I think) should have worked. That link is here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24973/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit Download Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8/8.1-64-bit
I clicked on the third download link from the top, the .exe that I thought was the correct version. When I tried to install it, however, it says "This operating system is not supported".
Any ideas on what I've done wrong, or what I could do to fix it? Thanks a ton for your response in advance!

Oops, one other thing I forgot to add. It says that I have service pack 1. I don't know if that's a revision or not, or if it helps/matters, but hopefully that clarifies the OS revision. Thanks!

Hello, ShinobiOne:
Thank you for contacting the Intel Communities.
I would like to recommend you to install all windows updates and then try with the following steps: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005474.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005474.html
The link provided contains the driver that should work for your system, so that shouldn't be a problem.
The other driver to be used would be the one provided by your OEM, While using OEM systems like yours, the recommendation is to download and install the drivers from your computer's manufacturer website.
This is to avoid losing any special features or settings while using the generic drivers from Intel®.
To get those drivers you can access the following link and search by model (NV76R): http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/drivers-downloads http://us.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/drivers-downloads
I look forward to your outcome with this.
Regards,
Esteban C
