Hi
In the last two years i have changed 12 pc's to nuc's in our accounting.
8x NUC-D53427RKE
4x NUC6i5SYK
Everything works and all members are using the dual screen mode (MiniDP/HDMI)
and now 1x NUC7i5BNK
The new nuc will have a Thunderbolt/HDMI Kombination. So there is my problem.
I understand only one graphic pipeline is connected to the Thunderbolt port.
My monitors are LG 22BK55WY-B (posible connection options are DisplayPort 1.2, DVI-D mit HDCP, 15 pol. D-SUB)
My operating system is Windows 10 with all updates.
Normally i know when the nuc is turned on i see the intel logo on both monitors while booting. (so i know both monitors are recognized)
But this isn't so. Only the monitor on thunderbolt port shows the intel logo.
First attempt:
1. Port 1 > Thunderbolt > Monitor USB-C to DP Kabel > OK
2. Port 2 > HDMI > Monitor HDMI to DP Kabel > Screen is black.
I used this cable at the thunderbolt port: https://www.reichelt.de/USB-Grafikloesungen/SON-X-UCC021-010/3/index.html%3FACTION%3D3%26GROUPID%3D8275%26ARTICLE%3D213315 SON X-UCC021-010: USB C Stecker auf DP Kabel, DP Mode, 4K60, 1 m, weiß bei reichelt elektronik
Second attempt:
1. Port 1 > Thunderbolt > Monitor USB-C to DP Kabel > OK
2. Port 2 > HDMI to DVI Kabel > Same Problem > Screen is black
I used this cable at the thunderbolt port: https://www.reichelt.de/USB-Grafikloesungen/SON-X-UCC021-010/3/index.html%3FACTION%3D3%26GROUPID%3D8275%26ARTICLE%3D213315 SON X-UCC021-010: USB C Stecker auf DP Kabel, DP Mode, 4K60, 1 m, weiß bei reichelt elektronik
Third attempt:
Disabled CEC on HDMI in Bios
1. Port 1 > Thunderbolt > Monitor USB-C to DP Kabel > OK
2. Port 2 > HDMI > Monitor HDMI to DP Kabel > Screen is black.
I used this cable at the thunderbolt port: https://www.reichelt.de/USB-Grafikloesungen/SON-X-UCC021-010/3/index.html%3FACTION%3D3%26GROUPID%3D8275%26ARTICLE%3D213315 SON X-UCC021-010: USB C Stecker auf DP Kabel, DP Mode, 4K60, 1 m, weiß bei reichelt elektronik
Fourth attempt:
Enabled CEC on HDMI in Bios
Fix Grafic Output 1 to Thunderbolt and 2 to HDMI in BIOS
1. Port 1 > Thunderbolt > Monitor USB-C to DP Kabel > OK
2. Port 2 > HDMI > Monitor HDMI to DP Kabel > Screen is black.
I used this cable at the thunderbolt port: https://www.reichelt.de/USB-Grafikloesungen/SON-X-UCC021-010/3/index.html%3FACTION%3D3%26GROUPID%3D8275%26ARTICLE%3D213315 SON X-UCC021-010: USB C Stecker auf DP Kabel, DP Mode, 4K60, 1 m, weiß bei reichelt elektronik
Fifth attempt:
Enabled CEC on HDMI in Bios
Fix Grafic Output 1 to HDMI and 2 to Thunderbolt in BIOS
1. Port 1 > Thunderbolt > Monitor USB-C to DP Kabel > OK
2. Port 2 > HDMI > Monitor HDMI to DP Kabel > Screen is black.

I have no more Ideas. Which setup will work?

Hello TomAm,
Thank you for joining the Intel Community Support.
First, I would like to gather some information about your setup. Follow these steps with both monitors connected:
1.Open the Control Panel for Intel® Graphics
2.Locate and save the graphics driver report: Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel > Options > Dropdown > Information Center > Save.
3.Attach it to the thread.
Second, do you experience the same issue when you use a straight-through connection (HDMI-to-HDMI) with a single cable?
Is it the same when using single display only?

I can't try the option HDMI direct to HDMI.
Because my monitors do have only DVI, DP and SUB-D.
Now i have tried following options:
First:
Shiverpeak HDMI > DVI Adapter > DVI-DVI Kabel > Works!
https://www.reichelt.de/A-V-Adapter-HDMI-/SHVP-77400/3/index.html?ACTION=3&LA=446&ARTICLE=211245&GROUPID=5385&artnr=SHVP+77400&SEARCH=dvi%2Bhdmi%2Bshiverpeaks&trstct=pos_5 SHVP 77400: Adapter, HDMI Stecker auf DVI Buchse bei reichelt elektronik
In attachment is now my working option file!
Second (better):
UGreen HDMI to Displayport Converter > DP to DP cable > Works!
See pictures in attachment
Third (better and cheaper):
Now i will buy for a test this cable:
https://www.reichelt.de/HDMI-DVI/SHVP-BS77488/3/index.html?ACTION=3&LA=446&ARTICLE=218238&GROUPID=8098&artnr=SHVP+BS77488&SEARCH=dvi%2Bhdmi%2Bshiverpeaks&trstct=pos_13 SHVP BS77488: HDMI Stecker < DVI-D (24+1) Stecker vergoldet 10 m bei reichelt elektronik
HDMI to DVI direct. Because the adapter needs to much place behind the nuc.
Thanks for your help!
